One Year Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics – F.A.A. Part 147 Approved

SMAT is one of the few schools to offer a comprehensive course in Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics that can be complete in just one year. The program is FAA approved and provides training and preparation for the FAA written, oral, and practical mechanics tests.

Tuition and lab fees for the School of Missionary Aviation Technology to provide the full Aviation Maintenance School training (A & P License) for the 2007-2008 school year is as follows:

General Course (August - December)

  • Course Fee: $3,475.00
  • Lab Fee: $250.00

Airframe Course: (January - April)

  • Course Fee: $6,500.00
  • Lab Fee: $250.00 .

Powerplant Course: (April - August)

  • Course Fee: $6,500.00
  • Lab Fee: $250.00 .

Notes about Tuition & Fees:

  • Additional costs will be incurred for books, tools, FAA testing, and field trips.
  • Payments for all students will be due and payable on the first day of each course.
  • Students are responsible for their individual room and board.
  • Arrangements may be made with students for payment throughout the semester on an individual basis. However, a student may be asked to withdraw from classes if a delinquency in payment persists.
